Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior AI Engineer to join our AI & Machine Learning team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with large language models (LLM), agent-based systems, and various Google Cloud AI services, including the Google Cloud Natural Language (NL) API, Google Gemini AI, Google Document AI, and Google Vertex AI.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the AI-driven solutions for our platform and ensuring the seamless integration of advanced technologies to address complex business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and optimize large language models (LLM) and agent-based systems tailored to business applications.
Design and build AI-powered solutions leveraging GCloud Natural Language API, GCloud Gemini AI, and GCloud Document AI to automate data extraction and processing from documents and emails.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to define AI requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Lead the AI development lifecycle from research and design to deployment and continuous improvement.
Contribute to AI model training and fine-tuning processes, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, especially within Google Cloud’s AI ecosystem.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in AI-related projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years focused on large language models (LLMs) and agent-based systems.
Extensive experience working with Google Cloud AI services, including the Natural Language API, Gemini AI, and Document AI.
Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
Strong experience in cloud-based architectures, especially in Google Cloud (GCP).
Familiarity with AI model deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with data pipelines and integration in AI/ML workflows is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with deep learning models and techniques (transformers, BERT, etc.).
Familiarity with additional Google Cloud AI tools and services.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices for AI.
Experience in the logistics or manufacturing industry is a plus.
